How long does it take to set up Autoch.at?

Most teams have their AI assistant live and handling real conversations within 30 minutes. The Quickstart guide walks you through the whole process.

Do I need technical skills to get started?

No. The core setup — training your AI, creating playbooks, and installing the chat widget — requires no coding. The widget installation is a simple copy-paste of a JavaScript snippet into your website's HTML.

What's the first thing I should do after signing up?

Start with your Training Context. Go to AI Assistant > Training Context and enter your website URL. Autoch.at will crawl your site and extract your content automatically, giving your AI a solid knowledge base right away.

How do I install the chat widget on my website?

  1. Go to Settings > Chat Widget.
  2. Copy the installation code snippet.
  3. Paste it into your website's HTML, just before the closing </body> tag.
  4. Visit your website to confirm the widget appears.

If you're using WordPress, you can paste the snippet using a plugin like Insert Headers and Footers or directly in your theme's footer template.

Can I test the AI before putting it on my website?

Yes — use the Widget Playground at Conversations > Messaging > Widget Playground. It's a live sandbox where you can interact with your AI assistant exactly as a customer would, without it being on your actual website.

How do I invite my team?

Go to Settings > Users and click Invite User. Enter their email address and select their role. They'll receive an invitation email with a link to set up their account.
