SettingsPreferences

Preferences

Configure your notification preferences, CRM sync rules, and personal settings.

The Preferences page allows you to customize how your workspace handles notifications, CRM synchronization, and personal interface settings.

Call Recording

If you have provisioned a Telnyx voice number, you can enable call recording here.

When Enable call recording for Telnyx voice calls is checked, all inbound and outbound calls will be recorded. Callers will hear an automated notification that the call is being recorded for training, quality, and compliance purposes.

CRM Integration

This section provides a quick link to open the CRM application. If you don't have a CRM account yet, clicking Open CRM will automatically create one for you and link it to your workspace.

Storage Usage

Monitor your workspace's storage consumption. This includes:

  • Database: Storage used by your contacts, conversations, and training data.
  • Recordings: Storage used by voice call recordings.

Setup Wizard

The Setup Wizard guides you through the essential steps of configuring your workspace, such as creating an assistant, adding knowledge, and testing the chat widget.

  • Open Setup Wizard: Click this button to launch the onboarding wizard at any time. Your completed steps are preserved, so you can resume where you left off.
  • Show Setup Wizard button: When enabled, a floating Setup Wizard button will appear in the bottom-right corner of your dashboard until you complete all onboarding steps. You can disable this if you prefer to hide the floating button.
  • Show contextual help icons: Controls the question-mark help icons shown next to labels and settings across the app.
  • Reset onboarding progress: Click this if you want to walk through the Setup Wizard from the beginning again.

Lead Notification Settings

Configure how and when you receive notifications about new leads.

CRM Lead Sync

When a conversation is inactive for 30 minutes, it automatically closes. At this point, the system can sync the lead data to your connected CRM (requires CRM Connection sync to be enabled).

Choose your sync rule:

  • Send all leads to CRM: Every captured lead is synced, regardless of their qualification score.
  • Only send qualified leads to CRM: Only leads that meet your Qualification Settings criteria will be synced.

Notification Triggers

Choose which events trigger an email notification:

  • Notify when lead is qualified: Receive an alert when a lead meets your qualification criteria.
  • Notify when lead is unqualified: Receive an alert when a lead fails to meet your qualification criteria.

Email Notifications

Add the email addresses that should receive the lead notifications configured above. You can add multiple recipients.

Structured Email (XML)

Send ADF (Auto Lead Data Format) or custom XML lead emails automatically after a conversation closes and the inactivity summary is generated. This is useful for integrating with legacy CRMs or automotive dealership systems that ingest leads via email.

  1. Toggle Enable structured XML email.
  2. Add one or more Recipients.
  3. Choose your Format:
    • ADF: Standard automotive lead format. You can configure the Vendor Name, Provider Name, Service, and URL, and map Autoch.at fields (like Name, Email, Phone, Summary) to specific ADF XML paths.
    • Freeform: Write your own custom XML template. You can use smart tags like {{name}}, {{email}}, {{phone}}, and {{display_summary}} to inject lead data into your template.

ADF XML is sent via Autoch.at's dedicated email service to ensure CRM-compatible delivery.

SMS Notifications

Add phone numbers (in E.164 format, e.g., +1234567890) to receive SMS alerts for major system events.

You can opt-in to specific alert types:

  • Usage threshold alerts: Get notified when your workspace reaches 80% and 100% of its usage limits.
  • BYOK key failure alerts: Get notified if your Bring Your Own Key (OpenAI/Anthropic) API key fails or is rejected.
  • Security alerts: Get notified of HIGH and CRITICAL security events.

Custom Webhook

You can configure a custom webhook to receive JSON payloads when conversations close.

  1. Toggle Enable Webhook.
  2. Select what data to include in the payload:
    • Include conversation summary: Adds the AI-generated summary of the conversation.
    • Include contact details: Adds the captured name, email, and phone number.
    • Include qualification score: Adds the lead's qualification status and score.
  3. Click Save Notification Preferences.

n8n Webhooks

If you use n8n for automation, you can send signed event payloads directly to your n8n workflows.

  1. Click Add Webhook and enter your n8n webhook URL.
  2. The system will send a test event immediately to verify the connection.
  3. Payloads are signed using HMAC SHA-256 with the X-Autochat-Signature header and a timestamp in X-Autochat-Timestamp.

Webhook Goals

Goals allow you to trigger webhooks (goal.triggered.v1) when specific conditions are met during a conversation.

  1. Click Add Goal to define a new condition.
  2. Configure the Per-conversation goal cap to limit how many times goals can fire in a single conversation (1-25).
  3. Choose what data to include in the goal payload:
    • Include contact name and value: Adds the contact's details.
    • Include AI summary: Adds a summary of the context that triggered the goal. You can choose the summary detail level (Short, Medium, or Long).

Phone Number Provisioning

If your plan allows it, you can provision a voice-capable phone number for your assistant directly from this page. Click Provision Phone Number to select a local number.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Toggle Enable Shortcuts to turn on keyboard shortcuts for the application interface (e.g., Cmd+K for the command menu).

Default Currency

Select the default currency used for billing and financial metrics in your workspace.
